We head over to our panel now who are going to give you the lowdown on the main factors to consider in game week 1 - Chef will be kicking us off this week.

> Captain Lukaku or Kane?

fplchef

Aguero sorry I mean Lukaku

fplchef

Lukaku loves to score against the hammers and will want to introduce himself to the Old Trafford faithful with a bang.

fplchef

Kane.

> Which premier league team produce the biggest FPL points haul?

fplchef

Man City playing Brighton.

fplchef

Man City playing Brighton - City Looked very impressive in pre-season and look explosive. Aguero, Jesus and KDB to run riot.

fplchef

Palace Playing Huddersfield.

> FPL flop of the week?

fplchef

Dele Ali.

fplchef

Sanchez - can't see him being 100% fit after confed cup and extended rest and will lack match fitness so struggle to make an impact.

fplchef

Pogba.

> Surprise standout player of the week?

fplchef

Davy Klaasen.

fplchef

Vardy - Leicester play best on the counter and Arsenal will try to play the game on the front foot leaving gaps for the pacy Vardy to exploit.

fplchef

Mounie from Huddersfield.

> If you don’t already own him who is the must transfer in player for this game week?

fplchef

Salah guy will be fire.

fplchef

Kane looked sharp in pre-season and with no summer tournament slowing him down, I expect him to shrug off the August blues and do well against Newcastle.

fplchef

KDB.

> Upset result of the week?

fplchef

Leicester beating Arsenal if you are putting a gun to my head.

fplchef

Leicester away at Arsenal - rationale same as Vardy.

fplchef

Watford Win.

> Which big players are at risk of being rotated?

fplchef

Sane/Sterling.

fplchef

Aguero - Sterling has been used in pre-season in the new 352 system coming on for Aguero a couple of times.

fplchef

Morata.

> Which teams are nailed on for clean sheets?

fplchef

Man U and Man City, Chelsea too as Burnley struggle away from home.

fplchef

Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Everton - Burnley will park the bus and are very limited in attack, City will high press and keep the ball eliminating Brightons attack, Man United will control the game and give WHU very few chances and Stoke look poor this year with no new attacking additions.

fplchef

Chelsea & Man City.

> What do you see as the best formation to play for this gameweek?

fplchef

3-4-3 every week not just this week.

fplchef

3-4-3 - In my opinion, it provides the best overall balance as there are a few good picks in the 5.5-6.5 striker price bracket and I think clean sheets are hard to predict in the opening games which limits the appeal of going 4/5 at the back.

fplchef

3-5-2.

> Wow many points do you think your own FPL team are going to get this week?

fplchef

I will go a safe 55.

fplchef

74.

fplchef

64.

> And finally if you could only pick one drink to enjoy with this gameweek what would it be?

fplchef

@WestonsOldRosie as it will make me forget my captain fail!

fplchef

@Sharpsbrewery Doombar ale - delicious amber ale reminds me of the beer at my local pub called “The cat” which is one of the best i have had.

fplchef

@OrchardThieves cider - lovely stuff.
